Sysslan Internship Opportunities offer students and freshers a range of virtual internship domains to explore across technology and business. Based in Yavatmal, Maharashtra, Sysslan IT Solutions lists 32 internship domains, but its published pages do not describe each role in detail. This can make it difficult to decide which opportunity best matches your degree, skills, and career goals.
This guide to Sysslan Internship Opportunities helps you compare related domains, identify roles that may suit your academic background, understand where new opportunities are announced, and learn how to apply. We clearly distinguish between information officially published by Sysslan and general industry explanations of what each role may involve. Since Sysslan has not published a detailed syllabus or task list for every domain, role descriptions in this guide should be treated as general guidance rather than confirmed internship responsibilities.
The opportunity at a glance
Sysslan runs two tracks. The 1-month track lists 32 domains. The 2/3 months track lists 19, and every one of them also appears in the 1-month list, so there are 32 unique domains in total. Of these, 24 are technical and 8 are business functions.
The program is virtual and unpaid, joining is free, and a certificate is available as an optional, paid extra. Sysslan says interns work on real-world style tasks, receive mentor guidance and build portfolio-ready projects. Strong performers may receive recommendations or future consideration, but the terms say completion does not guarantee a job.
What each role family usually involves
The descriptions below are general industry explanations, not Sysslan’s published task lists. Use them to understand the kind of work, and ask Sysslan for the specifics of your chosen role.
Programming (Software Development, Java, Python, C/C++). Writing and testing code that solves defined problems, such as small utilities, data handling or logic exercises. Expect more reading and debugging than building.
Web and app development (Web, Front End, Full Stack, MERN, Android, Flutter). Building pages or screens a user can interact with, connecting them to data, and fixing layout or behaviour problems. Front End focuses on what the user sees, Full Stack and MERN add the server and database side, and Android and Flutter target mobile apps.
Design (UI/UX). Planning how screens look and how a user moves between them, usually delivered as layouts or prototypes with reasons for the choices.
Data and analytics (Excel, Power BI, Business Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Analyst, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering). Cleaning data, finding patterns, building charts or dashboards, and explaining what they mean. Data Engineering leans toward moving and organizing data, and Machine Learning toward training and testing models.
Engineering (Embedded Systems, IoT, AutoCAD). Working with hardware logic, sensors and connected devices, or producing technical drawings.
Quality and documentation (Quality Assurance, Technical Writing). Testing software for faults and recording them clearly, or writing guides and explanations that other people can follow.
Business functions (Marketing, Social Media, Content Creation, Sales, Business Development, Customer Support, Operations, Finance). Planning outreach, writing content, handling queries, tracking processes or analysing figures. These suit commerce, management and arts students.
Roles that sound alike: how to tell them apart
Several titles overlap, and the pages do not explain the difference. This table gives a general way to think about each pair, and a good reason to email Sysslan before you choose.
| Pair | General difference | Choose the first if you… |
| Software Development vs Web Development | Software is broad; web is about sites and browser-based apps | want general coding practice, not only websites |
| Front End vs Full Stack | Front end is the visible side; full stack adds server and database | prefer design and layout over data storage |
| Full Stack vs MERN Stack | MERN names a specific toolset (MongoDB, Express, React, Node) | are open to any stack, not one fixed set |
| Data Analysis with Excel vs Power BI | Excel for sheets and formulas; Power BI for interactive dashboards | are a beginner or work mostly with tables |
| Business Analytics vs Business Intelligence | Analytics explains why things happened; BI reports what is happening | enjoy asking questions of data |
| Data Analyst vs Data Science | Analysts describe and report; data scientists also build predictive models | are not yet comfortable with statistics or Python |
| Machine Learning vs Data Science | ML centres on models; data science is wider | already know some Python and maths |
| Android vs Flutter | Android is one platform; Flutter builds for several from one codebase | want to learn the native platform |
In practice, Sysslan may treat some of these as near-identical, so ask which tools and tasks your role uses before you commit.
Eligibility, matched to your degree
Sysslan’s FAQ names students, recent graduates and diploma holders from B.Tech, B.Sc, BCA, MCA, M.Tech and “related fields,” and prefers basic knowledge of the chosen domain. International students may apply to the virtual program. No minimum marks or age limit is published. The table below is our suggestion for matching a degree to roles, not an official mapping.
| Your background | Roles worth looking at first |
| B.Tech or BCA in computer science or IT | Software, Java, Python, Web, Full Stack, Data Analyst, Quality Assurance |
| MCA or M.Tech | Full Stack, MERN, Data Science, Machine Learning, Data Engineering |
| B.Sc (maths, statistics, computer science) | Data Analyst, Data Science, Business Analytics, Python |
| Electronics or electrical engineering | Embedded Systems, IoT Development, C/C++ |
| Mechanical or civil engineering or diploma | AutoCAD, Excel-based data analysis, Operations |
| Design or arts background | UI/UX Design, Content Creation, Social Media, Technical Writing |
| Commerce, MBA or BBA | Marketing, Finance, Sales, Business Development, Business Analytics |
If your degree is not on Sysslan’s list, ask support whether it counts as a “related field” before you apply.
Where opportunities are announced
The FAQ says Sysslan posts opportunities regularly, depending on projects and hiring needs, and that you can apply through its website, LinkedIn postings or the email address given in an announcement. Since no start date, deadline or batch calendar appears on the pages, the practical approach is:
- Check the official internships page on a regular schedule instead of relying on one visit
- Follow the company’s LinkedIn page, which the FAQ mentions for quick queries
- Treat any announcement that asks for payment before selection with caution, since the terms say there is no registration fee
A missed announcement is not a closed door, because new rounds appear over time.
How to apply
Each role’s Apply Now button opens a Google Form, and several roles share a form. Start from the official internships page, choose one role, and complete the form with your resume, your interest in the domain and your availability, which are the three things selection rests on. Some roles may add a short screening interview or skills assessment.
What goes into your application depends on the role family:
| Role family | Lead your resume with | Link to |
| Programming, web, app | Languages, one or two projects | GitHub or a live page |
| Data and analytics | Tools used and a dataset you analysed | A dashboard or notebook |
| Design | Design tools and one redesign | A portfolio page |
| Engineering | Lab projects and tools | Photos, circuits or drawings |
| Quality and writing | Testing or writing samples | A short document |
| Business functions | Campaign, report or coursework outcomes | A one-page summary of your results |
Submit once, keep a copy of your answers and check your inbox and spam folder. If you receive an offer, reply within the stated period, because the terms say silence is treated as acceptance.
What the opportunity gives you, and what it does not
You gain: a structured set of tasks in a real domain, mentor feedback, a chance to produce a portfolio-ready piece, an optional certificate that can be verified, and a possible recommendation if you perform strongly.
You do not get: a stipend, a guaranteed job, a published syllabus or fixed weekly hours. The certificate costs a nominal fee whose amount is not stated, and the terms say work created during the internship belongs to Sysslan, so keep a separate portfolio version of anything you want to show publicly.
A quick fit scorecard
Before applying, score each statement from 0 to 2 (0 no, 1 partly, 2 yes). A total of 8 or more suggests the opportunity suits you.
- I can name the domain and attempt a beginner task in it today.
- I can give a steady few hours each week for the length stated in the offer.
- I am comfortable working without a stipend.
- I will respond to every message from Sysslan on time.
- I understand the certificate is optional and paid, and I have decided whether I need it.
Frequently asked questions
Are there only technical roles? No. Eight of the 32 domains are business functions, including Marketing, Sales, Finance and Customer Support.
Can I switch domains after joining? The pages do not say. Ask your mentor early, before you invest weeks in the wrong role.
Does the 2/3 months track include business roles? No. It lists only software, web, mobile, design and data domains.
Are cybersecurity and cloud computing available? The FAQ mentions them as areas, but neither appears as a role on the lists we saw, so confirm before applying.
Can a recommendation be requested? The FAQ says high performers may receive one. It is not guaranteed, so ask your mentor about the process near the end.
Is the program AICTE approved? The internships page describes it that way, while the terms say it is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government body unless stated in writing. Ask for the approval reference in writing and verify it on AICTE’s official portal if you need it for college credit.
